The June GATHERING will be a time for our Sacramento theatre community to PLAY & REST.
Theatre artists of Sacramento! Join us at Sutterville Rd. & 17th Ave. for some time to enjoy our beautiful William Land Park (spot GA5). Bring a frisbee, bring a blanket to lay on, bring a dish of food or a drink to share. You are welcome just as you are!

Balcony is thrilled to collaborate with the AS YOU LIKE IT Project, a grass-roots labor of love bringing together dedicated and impassioned theatre artists who want to make something fresh and exciting happen in the Sacramento theatre scene - for the artists and for the community.
As You Like It follows Rosalind who, along with her cousin Celia, flees from the persecution of her uncle's court into the Forest of Arden. There, she and a host of lively characters all find adventure, liberty and, eventually, love.

Come with those ideas you’re longing to share with other artists. Come with a game you love or your favorite water color set. Come with a blanket. There is space for it all.
Friends & family are warmly invited! Bring a dish of food or drink to share if have the resources. Wear something comfy, come as you are, just how we like you. 💚

Our first Gathering of 2025 will be a time to time to practice each pillar of Balcony (REST, CONNECT, PLAY), and to continue to dream about what we want for our Sacramento theatre community. Friends & family are warmly invited!

The December Gathering
Gather with us after business hours at Orphan on Sunday, December 29th, 5-8pm. Our end of the year Gathering will be all about what we want to leave in 2024 & what we want to dream up for ourselves & our community in 2025. This can be a chaotic & busy time of year but this Gathering will feel like an exhale, we promise.
We will create time to explore each pillar of Balcony (REST, CONNECT, PLAY), so join us for the whole three hours if you can. Bring a dish of food to share, a drink, or a board game. Wear something comfy, come as you are, just how we like you. 💚
